Making an Appointment
- To see the Nurse/Doctor:
All students requiring a medical appointment must first be assessed by the nurse. To book an appointment with the nurse you must be present in person with your ID card to the student health reception. Please note, you cannot book an appointment over the phone, you must come to the reception desk. Bookings are taken on a “First Come, First Service” basis, so it is recommended that you come as early as possible.
- To attend a clinic:
You can make an appointment for a scheduled clinic by booking online or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
- To see the Counsellor:
You can book an appointment by contacting the service on 071 93 05463, email email@example.com, or call to the reception desk.
Weekends/Out of Hours
- Students requiring emergency medical care out of hours and at the weekends can call Caredoc Sligo 0818-365399 between 6pm-8am (charges for non-medical care patients apply).
- For a doctor between 5-6pm and 8-9pm, please call 071 91 42550 for details of the doctor on call.
- In extreme emergencies, you should contact the emergency department at Sligo general hospital on 071 91 70000.
